Distance to Spot Ratio: As the distance from the target increases, so does the “spot” on the target being measured. Example using a 4:1 ratio: At a distance of 4″, the size being measured on the target is 1″ Diam. Moving away to 12″ increases the size being measure to 3″ Diam.
Includes five alarm measure modes. Alarm feature — set high and low temperatures and unit beeps if reading is outside that zone. Great for meeting HACCP guidelines. Includes jack that accepts any type K thermocouple probe sold separately.
