Plenty of storage space and work space are the strengths of this Undercounter Refrigerator/Freezer Combo. It’s a three-section unit, with two refrigerator sections, containing a total of 14 cubic feet of storage space, and one freezer section, with 8 cubic feet of storage space. The work surface top is formed of heavy duty 16 gauge stainless steel. The interior and exterior are made of stainless steel as well, and 2.5 inch of polyurethane insulation surrounds the product to ensure its proper temperatures. A removable side panel houses the slide-out condenser, which can be cleaned and maintained readily. R-404A refrigerant is used to help to sustain the frigid temperatures of the piece while protecting the environment. The air defrost function works differently for the refrigerator and the freezer. With the refrigerator is temperature, it’s temperature initiated and terminated. With the freezer, its start-up is timed, and can be scheduled every 3 to 12 hours. It’s both time and temperature terminated, as an extra level of precaution. The doors have rounded corners and recessed handles to create a smooth, contemporary appearance. Frame perimeter heaters halt the build-up of condensation. Two epoxy coated wire shelves are supplied for each section. The interior lighting is safety-shielded. The freezer has a temperature range of -10 to 32F and the refrigerator’s range is 33 to 41F. Push buttons are supplied for controlling these temperatures, and you can quickly be apprised of their status with a glance at the digital display. A microchip oversees many functions, including the accuracy of the temperature, in this unit. Your piece of equipment is perched on four casters. The two casters in front have locking brakes.
