In order to prevent the condensing coil from experiencing strain due to buildup, the compressor’s fan motor integrates a self-cleaning function. During each cycle, it reverses for 20 seconds to disperse accumulated debris and dirt from the coil. When combined with regular preventive maintenance, this mechanism can significantly enhance performance and extend the lifespan of the unit.
